Tematyka badań

Równowagi fazowe w układach binarnych - badania dotyczą wzajemnej rozpuszczalności cieczy jonowych z alkanami, cykloalkanami, węglowodorami aromatycznymi, alkoholami oraz wodą. Pomiary wykonywane są metodą punktu zmętnienia. Mieszaninę substancji o znanym składzie ogrzewa się w zamkniętym naczyniu aż do zaniku zmętnienia, następnie układ nieznacznie się ochładza i podgrzewa kilkakrotnie rejestrując temperaturę pojawiania się i zanikania zmętnienia.

Współczynniki aktywności w rozcieńczeniu nieskończenie wielkim - badania obejmują wyznaczanie współczynników aktywności w rozcieńczeniu nieskończenie wielkim w układach ciecz jonowa + alkany, alkeny, alkiny, cykloalkany, węglowodory aromatyczne, alkohole, woda oraz inne związki organiczne. Pomiary wykonywane są metodą inwersyjnej chromatografii gazowej.
